Volunteer Application

GOOD NEWS! Volunteers will not be required to pay for their event ticket to support the cause. However, before we evaluate your application, you MUST PAY $35 to apply for a volunteer position to process your application and the deadline to do that is April 30,  2008 (Postmarked.) Your fee covers administration costs and a portion of your monies will go to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

Teens (Age: 15-20) are welcome to apply for Teen MICA event or other responsibilities. (I.D. Check Enforced and must provide permission letter from parents.)

All volunteers must wear t-shirts with black dress pants or skirt on the day of the event. All volunteers are required to pay $15 for their own t-shirts. There will be an additional $10 for XXL sizes. You do not need to pay now. However, if we secure a sponsor to cover your t-shirts, it will be given back to you. So, pray!

All volunteers are required to pay $35 for the registration fee when submitting the volunteer form. Your application will not be processed without your fee. And there are no refunds! This is a charity.

If you are selected to join the MICA Team, you will not be required to pay for the MICA ticket. We decided to drop this policy this year.

You may either send in a check payable to DeafVision Filmworks with the form in the mail or via pay using paypal when you fill out the form online. The email account to process your payment with paypal from our website is mica@micarunway.com.

Since this is a three-day event, you need to make yourself available on all or either dates.

For detailed locations and times, we will contact you. However, ALL VOLUNTEERS are required to be available at 8AM on the day of the fashion show Saturday, June 21. No exception. So rest well as it will be a very long day!

Note: We will have a volunteer workshop/meeting a couple weeks before the event. A volunteer coordinator will get in touch with you when we get more information later.
