Geno is a 20 year old emcee from New Rochelle New York. He has been writing, recording and performing for over 5 years. Geno picked up writing and started rapping officially right after the death of his older cousin, Marlon Brando a former member of the Sporty Thieves. Geno says he always looked up to Brando and he recalls Brando helping him write lyrics as a kid. The name Geno was originally his father’s nick-name. Growing up people in the neighborhood would often refer to him as young Geno. As he matured and grew older he decided to dropped the “young,” and add Flamez to his name.

Era is a 20 year-old emcee from West Harrison New York. The young emcee has been involved with music for as long as he can remember. Era recalls being hooked to hip-hop since elementary school when he first heard Notorious B.I.G. on the radio. He states, “I memorized the lyrics and would spit them in front of my friends every time I heard the song on the radio. After getting down the rhythms and the flows I started to experiment with my own rhymes.” He began writing lyrics shortly after his father passed away in the fifth grade and never looked back. The name “Era” which is commonly mistaken for “A new Era,” or the time of a generation was simply originated from the sounds him and his friends used to make while beat boxing. “Every time I used to freestyle in middle school, my man that would beat box for me used to lay down this sound every 8 bars that was supposed to simulated a Dj scratching a record, the sound stuck with me and I just ran with it from there and turned it into my stage name.” Era recently just finished up his first solo mixtape called, “Thatkidera,” and is already working on his next project.
